Jim spent the day on our campus interacting with students, faculty, and staff through small, personable sessions and large group presentations. Jim’s humor, wisdom, and practical approach earned him the respect and admiration of everyone immediately.
Peppered with interesting and entertaining analogies and stories, Jim’s presentations on happenstance theory and skills helped our students identify resources, develop strategies, and gain confidence in their academic and career development.
Jim also helped our faculty and staff recognize strengths and weaknesses of our advising program and what next steps should be taken to keep the momentum moving forward in an effort to put “career” in our advising program.
JSC is looking forward to developing an ongoing relationship with Jim Peacock and Peak-Careers Consulting into the future. To quote one staff member, “he’s Johnson.”
