Quotes for On Line Seminar

” It’s very difficult to attend any of the local career focused groups due to my work schedule and the nature of my work so this is a treat for me to be with like minded career professionals.” Eric H. who has taken two seminars with Peak-Careers.

Two things that I really love about these online seminars are:

1. learning with new folks who have my common interests but come from diverse professional backgrounds, and

2. focusing on one theory/theme for an extended period of time

In graduate school I must have learned nearly a hundred theories on adult learning and counseling and they are all just a blur. I like concentrating on one and and taking it a part and playing with it, see how it could be used by me in my work.

Kim Warren ◊ University of Southern Maine  ◊ Taking her third online seminar with Peak-Careers ◊ June 2015

Just finished a great online class, Transition Theory in Career Advising through Peak-Careers. Thanks Jim Peacock for the enlightening course and a reasonable way to keep my career development certification. Really was another good class (as was Happenstance last year) to help me help others better in my job at the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Kudos!

Heather Larson ◊ Labor and Workforce Development Professional at State of New Jersey ◊ June 2014

Jim’s seminars are unique and a great way to receive training (which includes interaction with other participants); without ever leaving your desk! Jim is knowledgeable, passionate about helping people with career related needs and his classes are well organized and very valuable. I have completed his Happenstance and Transition Theory seminars and both were very informative and convenient! With his seminars, you gain practical, useful information in a short period of time.

Cheryl Reardon ◊ Career Development Facilitator at Fenton Area Public Schools ◊ June 2014

Jim’s training “Working With Boomers to Reinvent Retirement” was thought-provoking, stimulating, jam-packed with solid content and the most convenient training delivery system ever. I enrolled in this training to receive 15-hours toward my BCC renewal. Receiving the 15-hours would have been enough -we all know how deadly most CEU offerings are. Never did I expect to learn as much usable and interesting info, and have the opportunity to interact with a career coach of Jim’s caliber plus other very engaged, inspired professionals; both of which significantly contributed to making this training a multi-faceted and rich learning environment, and a tremendous value for the money! I recommend Jim with trust an confidence.
