LinkedIn: Advancing Your Skills

What you will learn: This seminar addresses the three major components of LinkedIn.

  • Creating a powerful profile
  • Building a quality network
  • Engaging with one’s connections.

The seminar is hands-on, with short current articles written by the instructor and other LinkedIn authorities, and videos to reinforce the lessons. It is interactive, you will review your profile, learn how to actively connect with 10 to 15 LinkedIn members per week, engage with people on LinkedIn, and more.  You will be evaluated on your discussions and work you do on LinkedIn.

Why this seminar is essential: As a career coach, advisor, or career service provider, it is critical that you have a strong profile and a good understanding of how to use LinkedIn in career development. This seminar is designed to empower you to teach your students/clients how to harness the power of LinkedIn in career development.

Bonus: Each participant receives a LinkedIn profile critique from either Hannah Morgan or Marie Zimenoff, who have reviewed hundreds of profiles over the years. This alone is valued at $150.

Instructor: Hannah Morgan

What others have said about this seminar

Yet another engaging and information-packed course from Peak Careers, with tons of insider tips and tricks for building a strong and engaging presence on LinkedIn! I now know how to create a winning LinkedIn profile and how to build and engage with my network. I can’t wait to share my new knowledge with my coaching clients! Claire Peters, Aha! Career Coaching LLC

I highly recommend this seminar. I learned so much including best practices for everything from navigation to engagement, and goals to results. It was great to have hands-on experience and interactive discussions each week as we progressed.

I will return to my work with the confidence, skills and knowledge to help my students use LI effectively, plus articles and tools to share with my Advising team colleagues. I feel that LI is especially important in the current environment, for job searching, community, networking, and more. Janet Mathias, M.A., CCSP, GCDF, Student Development Specialist/Advocate for Creative Transformation
